Maya Selva receives the Medal of Recognition from the French Senate

As part of France’s 11th annual Latin America Week, on June 4, 2019, the President of the Senate Gerard Larcher presented Maya Selva with the Senate´s Medal in a special ceremony held in the Boffrand Room. The award was granted to honor Maya´s work in developing handmade cigars, and helping highlight the artisan, his craftsmanship and this centuries-old tradition. This annual event is an initiative of the French Senate and the Diplomatic Corps in France.
